**Job Description**

The role of the **Digital Sales System Hardware DDR** is primarily opportunity/lead generation, to seek out and find new business/new buyers for IBM Sellers to progress and close. With a clearly defined and aligned approach, the DDRs are responsible for finding opportunities, cold calling, delivering account insight and building high quality pipeline through both their own research & inbound responses generated from marketing activity.
Proficient at using digital and business development tools, confident engaging peers and making connections, experience with a consultative selling approach and experience in at least one industry. They will be comfortable discussing business issues and goals with Line of Business clients and prospects.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Screening & qualifying marketing/inbound generated responses
+ Canvassing and developing target accounts
+ Creating opportunities according to the defined criteria through research of customers and prospects independently
+ Develop list of prospects based on behaviour.
+ Research prospects? social footprint, and find ways to develop contact & provide insight into target accounts, structure and priorities so that the sales teams can point their efforts most effectively
+ Increase the quality of opportunities in the pipeline and create a critical mass of short-listed opportunities
+ Enriching and ensuring data quality
+ Respond to requests during early sales/marketing stages
+ Nurture early stage clients/prospects through multiple touchpoints until fully validated
+ Utilise IBM network & align with account managers and other key positions within the sales organisation
+ Warm handover to appropriate seller to close
+ Outbound Relationship Management
+ Weekly Reporting
**Requirements:**
+ Strong dream to build a career in IBM
+ An understanding of business processes within larger organisations
+ Minimum 1year business development experience (preferably technical) with a track record in achieving personal business targets
+ Strong sales acumen & proven prospecting capabilities via digital channels especially telephone
+ Skilled working in a dynamic selling environment with ability to get along with ?C suite? level and Senior IT buyers across range of customer types
+ Can translate business pains into business solutions & work with internal sales teams in an effective way to find the right solutions for clients
+ Goal-oriented; maintains a sense of urgency in a deadline-driven setting
+ Ability to use resources throughout the business to solve complex problems
+ Excellent Social Media presence and can demonstrate how you use social media tools in a sales environment
+ Demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
+ French ? Native spoken and written
+ In addition to French, the common language in use in IBM is English so ?Business English? is a core requirement.
+ In general, given that we service multiple language groups onsite, fluency in many languages is a definite plus
