We are currently looking to expand our Canadian business into Aerial Firefighting and Air Ambulance services.
We are currently recruiting for a SeniorHuman Resources Advisor based in our Winnipeg, MB office. This is a full-time permanent position that will report to the Human Resources Manager.
The principal tasks and responsibilities include:
   » Supporting a client group of unionized, professional and salaried employees located within Manitoba and potentially other regions throughout Canada.
   » Managing the collective agreement and grievance process and acting as a key member of the collective agreement negotiation team.
   » Ensuring legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource legislative requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings
   » Coaching, advising and collaborating with the business unit management to help them achieve their goals and those related to human capital development by defining, among other things, the issues in terms of HR development and organizational development and by leading the analysis and diagnosis of customer needs.
   » Coaching and supporting management in relation with their issues pertaining to leadership development, performance and talent management, change management, employee engagement, human resources and communication.
   » Supporting the design, development and delivery of programs and processes pertaining to orientation, onboarding, performance management, engagement, compensation, annual leadership and skills development review.
   » Collaborating with the Talent Acquisition Advisor and supporting the business unit management with identifying recruitment strategies and resolving recruitment roadblocks.
   » Measuring the impact of human resources initiatives in order to add more value for the function.
   » Contributing to the continuous process improvement of the HR team and Business Unit by influencing human resources strategies, policies and methods.
   » Managing and processing day to day human resources transactions.
   » Other duties as assigned.

Job qualifications and requirements include:
   » Holding a Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Organizational Development or a related field
   » Having a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in HR including a minimum two (2) years’ experience in labour relations.
   » Having experience in the creation, development and implementation of HR business solutions for a wide range of customers.
   » Being a motivated individual that promotes change.
   » Being an individual who easily manages projects, collaborates and works in a team.
   » Being an individual that is driven by results and that has a clear vision on what a strategic Senior Human Resources Advisor role is expected to be.
   » Having experience working as a human resources advisor in a changing environment (asset).
   » Being eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance
