We are looking for a Brand Lead Diabetes to manage all marketing activities of assigned product to support company objectives, to conduct analyses of the market segment, including identification of key growth drivers, opportunities and risks. It may include determination of distribution channel solutions (including digital, social media, inside sales). Incorporates results of analysis into product strategy.
The Diabetes Brand Lead plays an important role on developing the people and organization fostering cross functional best practice while living AZ Values in everyday interactions. This position reports to the Head of Marketing Diabetes.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Leads development of brand strategy and marketing plans for assigned brands/products/indications, which may include distribution channel solutions.
+ Participates in and evaluates market research and analyzes promotions, public relations, and advertising associated with assigned brands/products/indications
+ Works closely with key customers and Key External Expertise (KEE) and managed markets teams to ensure successful positioning
+ Works closely with sales leaders to identify opportunities/issues
+ Participates in development of training for field/customer service personnel on brand information
+ Leads and drive the Brand team, to ensure strategy focus and maximization of opportunities
+ Acts as changing agent, and supports the consistency of brand strategy execution
Essential Requirements:
+ Academic background in Business, Marketing, Science, Pharmacy, Health
+ English advanced (C2)
+ Experience in marketing >= 5 years
+ Team management experience will be valued
+ Sales and/or Sales Leadership experience (preferable)
+ Solid proven experience in launches / Brand Plan Development & Implementation
+ Experience in Cardiovascular and Metabolic Therapeutic Area (preferable)
+ High level of personal efficiency (time management, excellent project management skills)
+ Flexibility (able to deal with shifting priorities and irregular workload; macro and micro manager)
+ Strong interpersonal skills ? KEE management.
+ Experience managing complex projects
+ Understanding of the Local Healthcare environment
+ Strong financial acumen
+ Strategic thinker (translates market insight into business actions; anticipates market trends; helicopter view; keeps a balance between accuracy and bigger picture; out-of-the-box thinker)
+ Change agent (able to put things in perspective; deals with uncertainty; driver of change; open minded; entrepreneurial co-defines the new commercial model; sees opportunities in change; compromise oriented)

+ Have high ethical standards
Desirable Requirements:
+ Complementary academic background in Business or Marketing (e.g. MBA)
+ Multicultural mindset (International Experience)
+ Additional TA experience
